The unknown person on the left hand side of the Jan 1976 photo with the late Colin Reece, where both are taking photos using telephoto lenses, is Adelaide climber John Marshall who resides in the Adelaide Hills nowadays and still gets out climbing occasionally. John’s name pops up frequently in the Moonarie guide where in particular he accompanied Col Reece on some big powerful lines.
