John Muir Trail

A couple of chipmunks come out to play.

I’ve finally uploaded some of my images from our recent walk across California’s John Muir Trail. The walk links Yosemite Valley and Mt Whitney and took us 24 days to complete. I’ve started captioning the images but it will be a few weeks before they are all completed.

  1. I’m a silent reader of your blog. I love checking in to see what’s new and have discovered a few places I didn’t know thanks to you (I’m a Brit living in Melbourne, so don’t know all the local geography super-well).

Awesome photos. I love that spectacular scenery. It actually reminded me (a little bit) of the Valle d’Aosta in the north of Italy in summertime. One of my fave places.

  2. That is really exciting, I was there in September last year and was chomping at the bit to do a few day hikes but the party I was with was not up for that! Great to see some great photos and write up, truly amazing part of the world 🙂
